highSCORE Festival 2010 focuses on Compositions for String Quartet + Classical, Acoustic or Electric guitar, in any combination, with or without live electronics.

* The Composition Colloquium with Yale Composition Professor Christopher Theofanidis: participate in the colloquium and present your music

* Two Master Classes with the 2004 Pulitzer Prize for Music Paul Moravec

* Evening Concerts: your music is performed by faculty, distinguished guest artists, and participant performers, and is professionally recorded

We don't reserve any rights on the recording of your music; you are allowed to use it however you like

* Coaching: coach musicians in the performance of your music

* Individualized attention: take private lessons with faculty members

* Attend daily lectures in composition, contemporary techniques, idiomatic writing, and advanced music theory

* Attend daily Italian lessons, and become fluent in the language!
